Well, he's also a celebrity thanks to a Netflix documentary. That's really what America is about- fame and notoriety and personality. Steve Forbes had as much brand recognition as Donald Trump and Michael Bloomberg was richer than him, but only one among the three was a reality TV show star who appeared on professional wrestling.

Ah, the joys of watching the talk page explode with links debating notability and such. I thought they were decently fair when listing the 2016 GOP Primary candidates and the 2020 Democratic Primary candidates, so I'm sure they'll work something reasonable out.

Though I do tend to think that Exotic, while perhaps notable when he was running as a Libertarian (as he's ran as a Libertarian in the past before), isn't necessarily notable when running under one of the two main parties.

I'll look forward to those contentious discussions, though, as always.

No serious candidate wants to enter the race unless they know for a fact Biden isn't running leaving only the crazies to enter the race.

A bunch of crazies (including a convicted criminal) got more than 40% of the vote in the West Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Oklahoma primaries in 2012 against Obama.
