Now that the Democrats control the House and the Senate, as it appears that Webb may have defeated Allen, do you think that Bush will make use of his veto? Would that lead to additional political backlash? The Dems don't have the votes to override his veto. This should be interesting.

Depends on what they pass.  If he vetos stuff just because he doesn't like it when a Democratic congress passes something, he can expect people not to take it very well.

He's lucky he has a few months to learn how to veto...he should study the last 6 years of clinton's term very carefully...that would be a good blue print.
