Progressive Susan Hutson will defeat four-term incumbent Marlin Gusman in today’s runoff election.



To call this an upset would be an understatement — this is AOC unseating Crowley-level stuff.

That part isn't very liberal though. Its still voted for Trump. I assume it would have the highest turnout as well.

Oh, Lakeview! Sorry. From glancing at the precinct results: Gusman, but lower turnout than you’d expect. Presumably a lot of Republicans stayed home or did not vote in the race. Probably best to wait for maps to be sure.
