As someone who is a big Boston sports fans (minus the Patriots, whom I do not root for and the Bruins, whom I do not root for but still like) I have seen 4 Red Sox World Series titles and a Celtics championship within the last 18 years. Most fans won't see that number of titles for their city within the lifetime. I am incredibly spoiled.

Funny that the non-Boston teams I root for (49ers and Devils) have not won championships since I started rooting for them, though. The last Devils Stanley Cup title came back in '03 before I was really paying attention to hockey.

I’d say Boston with the recent successes of their teams.  20 years ago I probably would have said NYC.

Minnesota.  They're awful and the Twins should be moved to somewhere better.

Boston, overall.  But, if you limit your time frame to the last couple years, you could easily argue for LA or Tampa.

Not LA for football or baseball. Before 2020, LA had a World Series win drought for 19 years, and a Super Bowl win drought for 39 years until 2022. Tampa has back to back Stanley Cups. In the past 30 years, LA has one Super Bowl win (2022) and two World Series wins (2001, 2020).

historically, as in over the entire history of NA professional sport*, NYC, and it's not close.  In my life time (1973-present), LA and NYC are close.  Over the last 20 years, clearly Boston.

voted NYC

STL fans aren't spoiled, but they/we have it pretty good.  The Cards and Blues are almost always competitive and that's all you should really ask out of a pro sports franchise.  Championships are nice, but if there is a decade of garbage before and after, I'd really rather not.  The Blues went to the playoffs 25 years in a row at one point (79/80 to the 03/04 season), never won the big one during that streak, but the organization was always trying, so the fans stayed hot.

LA now have three trophies Vince Lombardi, Larry O Brien and World Series trophies Kupp, Will Smith, Kershaw Chris Taylor ,Bellinger and Justin Turner, Stafford are all friends that's why it was expected that Rams win the Superbowl because comrades of Dodgers.

LA.now  have spoiled fans and we expect the Rams to win in AZ next yr and Dodgers to win this yr 22, in AZ the refs if Rams get there are gonna be biased towards the Rams like they were this yr and most fans expect us facing Titans not Chiefs in next yr Superbowl

Southie specifically (not Boston in general) has the most spoiled fans.

South Boston having a distinct sports culture separate from that of Boston as a whole is a really dated perception of how the city works.

Boston probably is the correct answer right now, though. Or maybe Auburn and Tuscaloosa for having NCAA football teams whose rivalry even lots of people outside Alabama are obsessed with despite being generic medium-sized Southern college towns in every other respect.

LA Rams are expecting to win and so are the Dodgers Justin Turner since Kershaw is gone and Cody Bellinger and Will Smith and Chris Taylor are taking leadership and comrade with Cooper Kupp and Stafford

Stafford is getting negative press due to walking away from an injured photographer whom was female who got injured during parade

I went to that parade it was overrated you couldn't see the players up close it was too many people

When baseball season begins Rams are gonna be pulling for Turner too

Southern NJ- Phillies, Eagles, 76ers fans

Umm...I wouldn't exactly consider either of those groups spoiled.  Both have won exactly one championship in the last decade.

College football and basketball are the only national titles not won by Boston in the past 15 years.

While what you're saying is correct, it also grants too much credence to a notion that exists only in the vivid imagination of our exchange rate mechanism-loving friend. There has never been any room for any part of Boston to have a separate sports identity (except maybe if one developed in the part of town near BC, but there was never anything like that), considering that the only two pro teams to play the same sport in the city, the Red Sox and Braves, played in the same part of town on opposite ends of Boston University.

What Boston calls a drought in football is actually a very recent NFL dynasty. Los Angeles only won three NFL national championships (Raiders in 1984, Rams in 1951 and 2022).

Isn't South Boston known for being the part of Boston that has the craziest patrons at bars?
