They represented 18.9% of the vote in 1992, and 8.4% of the vote in 1996. So a pretty solid chunk of voters, and clearly the vast majority didn't shift to other third parties. Is there any evidence of of their post-Perot voting(or non-voting) record?

I know my dad voted for Perot twice then voted consistently for the Democrats afterward, can't imagine that's the majority of them though.

Wow. I suspected a more even divide given the 1992 exit polls-maybe not a completely even split, but a two-to-one divide surprises me.

also about 45% of people who still voted for perot in 1996 were self identified republicans and conservative independents, followed by 30% moderates and 20% democrats or liberal independents
