You know the Republican primary for Wyoming’s at large congressional district, where Liz Cheney is up in the primary (and will probably lose to even a block of wood if that were the object primarying her)?

I have an extremely bold prediction about this race, and that isn’t whether Cheney is primaried or not or whether the Republican wins. Oh no.

It’s who her primary opponent will be.

I genuinely have a gut feeling that a certain famous rapper who is friendly with Trump and resides in Wyoming will primary Cheney, and thus be the first African American congressman from Wyoming. Yes, for whatever reason.... I genuinely believe that Kanye West will unironically attempt to primary Cheney or even run as an independent in the House race. Either way.... he will probably succeed.

Don’t inquire me why I posted this, but I thought of this scenario, and I find it extremely funny. And I can genuinely picture it happening, believe it or not.

But what if Kayne West joins the race and talks about 272 fireweil to confuse the voters?

Relative to the Trump years barely anybody is paying attention to politics now. There seems like little upside for a chronic attention seeker like Kanye to seek higher office during the Biden administration.

The only thing that would help Kanye is a clown car primary race, and even then, the resentment towards out of staters is so strong that nobody would seriously vote for him when there are a plethora of alternatives. In all seriousness, in a state this small and a primary field this large, nearly every voter will have a member of their own community in the race that they can vote for. There simply aren't enough nihilistic zoomers and millennials to make this happen.

Our reality is terrible enough where this could happen, but Kanye attempted his publicity run in 2020 and it did not bear fruit. I don't know if he would want to do it again, especially in a race that he could probably win. I don't think he actually wants a job in politics.
