As far as I know "Generation Z" is usually considered to go from the late 1990's to the early 2010's for birth years. This means in 2014 it was a group of people ranging from late teenagers to, if fully stretched out, literal toddlers. In 2018 still from college students to first-graders. I do not know if such a deep question was asked to actual seven-year-olds or if a significant portion (possibly most) of Generation Z was simply excluded, but in either case I do not find this poll very useful.

I’m not surprised at all by this, and future generations will probably be even less religious

I mean you can't know this for sure as religious revivals can happen along with future children rebelling against their secular parents

Yeah, I could see that. But for now, and the next generations, will be secular.

This has happened before and will happen again. Also, the question is phrased poorly. More useful statistics would also display the number of zoomers who believe but have doubts. Zoomers are less likely to respond affirmatively to the question as asked because they tend to be—correctly, I think—more inclined than previous generations to think of doubt and supposed contradiction as being neutral or even good.

Many zoomers are probably also answering this question as if they were instead being asked "do you feel like you fit in with your parents' and grandparents' understanding of [religion they were brought up around]?" It should not be surprising, if this is the case, that many people of all ages and backgrounds would answer "no" to this question.
