This is an extreme retort, but Congress should pass an amendment to keep the Military out of political matters.
Fun fact: Congress still reserves the power to not allow any students it so chooses at West Point the ability to join the military. Congress has that power specifically so that it can try to ensure the military does not lean politically one way or the other too strongly, although as far as I know, it doesn't really exercise that right, lest it become an arms race between the parties.
Most students at West Point's party preferences involve a lot of white claw and finding the least efficient way to blow daddy's money after their stipend handout is gone. They are oxygen wastes.
We need to stop treating these children as the leaders of America. That might have been true in the Civil War - WWII era, but recently most students at "service" academies are lifelong welfare queens who deserve no respect or responsibility. The sooner they are shut down, the better.
Jeez, dude. Did some Marine slap you around in a bar and steal your girlfriend once?
You're constantly blowing past the line of opposing the military industrial complex, to just plain out hating on the rank-and-file actually serve in the military isn't political so much as just plain creepy.
