Why do people here think SirWoodbury is genuine?

I know plenty of SirWoodbury types in real life.  I grew up around these idiots.  Sadly people like this are very real and do actually exist.

They absorb right-wing media for hours every day, internalize all the talking points and arguments, and then go online to annoy strangers by repeating them and slathering on a thick layer of snideness and sarcasm and aggression and all their other negative personality traits.

In real life, they do the same thing, but they leave the awfulness behind and instead repeat these talking points almost pleadingly, as though they want someone to reward them for doing such a good job of memorizing the latest Ingraham Angle.

It's a really sad life.  The left-wing equivalent is the Twitter leftists who spend all day listening to podcasts and watching the same 5-6 YouTube channels and then go on Twitter to "own" the normie Dems and high-five each other in their Discord chats.  But that's a very small group of people.  The sad thing about Fox Brain conservatives is that there's tens of millions of them, and millions more get infected every year.  Family, friends, co-workers, once they get hooked into the right-wing ecosphere, it's like heroin, they fall into this spiral of addiction where you watch it getting worse and worse and worse but can't do anything to help them out of it, and slowly their personality completely dissolves and it's replaced by the default right-wing asshole personality that they all have.

Like SirWoodbury isn't unique.  He has the exact same personality as millions of other Fox Brain idiots.  He's kind of unique on Atlas because most of the other SirWoodburys have gotten banned for being malicious assholes, yet somehow he continues to evade a ban.  But if you go to Facebook, it's absolutely swarming with SirWoodburys, like a cockroach infestation in a cheap NYC apartment.  And a new batch is born every minute.

I think SirWoodbury is just mimicking these types of people to annoy Atlasians because these types of people normally wouldn’t even want to be on Atlas, though his trolling persona might have taken control of him. I’ve seen plenty of people who accidentally turn themselves into Trump supporters because they start of just wanting to troll a little bit, but get too sucked into the persona

Atlas is filled with people who have a pretty good knowledge of politics and can very easily and thoroughly debunk the ridiculous GQP talking points that these rubes fall for. A lot of the reason why so many rural people believe all that nonsense that SirWoodbury believes is because everyone else around them knows nothing about politics and never corrects them. However, SirWoodbury is exposed to plenty of people who know what they’re talking about
