Edwards is a moderate, so it's more likely that Lee wins big at the convention.

If Edwards had waited until 2024 to challenge Romney, the convention might have been interesting.

As much as I wish it wasn't the case, there's nothing interesting about this race and anyone who tells you otherwise is wishcasting.

Also do conventions in Utah even matter anymore? I know Bob Bennett lost because of one, which pisses me off so much, but I heard they've changed the rules since then.

Bob Bennett should have been a lifer. Can a convention loser petition to be on the ballot?

Bob Bennett should have been a lifer. Can a convention loser petition to be on the ballot?
It used to be that if you lost at the convention then that was it but the legislature changed the rules a few years ago so you can always qualify for a primary via signatures.
