Yes.

Long overdue.

The US has a massive gun problem and the first solution is to tackle it by the roots and destroy the homegrown terror organization known as NRA.

He's the last white male president, so he better hurry.

The rurals will go full "Don't Tread On Me" once the Queen gets in.

No. I'm about as anti-gun as you can get and that sets a terrible precedent.

I understand why someone would call the NRA racist, or fraudulent, or a propaganda or marketing operation. But a "terror organization"? Terror requires violent action, or the credible threat of such. As far as I'm aware the NRA (unlike Trump-led political organization) does not meet that threshold.

The NRA is many things. but it’s not a “terrorist organization.” It’s also imploding and losing power anyway right now. No need to reinvigorate it.

I have no love for the Austrian Greens. Accepting (and thereby legitimizing) Kurz's immigration policy in general and deportation policy in particular is more of a terrorist act than anything the NRA has ever done.

Biden can not "classify the NRA as a terrorist organization". There is no such list of domestic terrorist organizations that the President can unilaterally add to.

What people generally are referring to when talking about being designated as a "terrorist organization" is the State Department's list of foreign terrorist organizations. Other countries have similar lists as well, as does the European Union. For example Canada recently designated the Proud Boys as a foreign terrorist organization effectively banning any Canadian citizen from funding or supporting the Proud Boys in the US, and banning known supporters of the Proud Boys from entering Canada. This also applies in both the US and Canada to say, Hamas. There are some countries, like the UK, that have a list of both foreign and domestic terrorist organizations, but the US is not one of them, and it would almost certainly be unconstitutional for the US to do so.

If the NRA was actively involved in any terrorist attacks the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies could label them as such in regards to operations against them and RICO charges, but this would require the NRA to do something illegal, and lobbying for laws on guns that we don't like isn't illegal. The NRA does appear to have committed fraud as Letitia James' lawsuit is about and that is illegal but it's also not considered terrorism.

And before anyone replies with "But Trump classified Antifa as a terrorist organization!"...no he didn't. He put out a tweet saying that the US would, and then proceeded to do nothing afterwards other than tweet more bullsh!t. If this surprises you then you should probably learn that not everything Trump tweeted was fully truthful and that generally he wasn't a trustworthy source or actor. Shocking, I know.

What's that supposed to accomplish other than more polarization? If such a declaration is even possible, which I doubt. Needless to say NRA leadership is corrupt and morally bankrupt, but de facto declaring war on all simple members/gun owners does nothing against gun violence. Big reforms only happen with responsible gun owners. Leave it to attorneys like Tish James to deal with NRA's corruption.

lol, you fool.

You realize that they are in a coalition ?

They are not supporting these deportation policies, but their other option is to end the coalition.

Besides, deporting people is not „terroristic“, it’s common sense and also the law of a country.

And you are also an idiot for saying the NRA is less damaging than Austrian deportation. The NRA has killed hundreds of thousands of people, deportation has not.
