McBath only got 216,000 votes in 2020 so Earls' 500,000 subscribers should easily defeat her.

"oof" indeed — another race "blown" by a scandal-tainted Republican too eager to placate the notoriously low-propensity Trump base. Now our reasonable, very persuadable Cobb County Georgia moderates (whose regular yet "reluctant" support of D candidates is obviously not bound up with their political/social identity that they feel the need to affirm in every election and instead unambiguously correlated with the sanity, manners, and authoritarianism and bipartisanship matrix scores of the Republican candidate) will vote against him if he makes it out of the primary. A scandal-free, inoffensive Republican would have won...

I also wonder why Earls didn’t explicitly distance himself from Trump's January insurrection in his first ad — surely a foolish strategic decision which likely would have cost him the election even without that scandal by leaving him open to Democratic attacks tying him to the Trumpian elements of the national party which the voters of GA-06 so soundly rejected in 2018, 2020, and January 2021. Between Kelli Ward's tweets, Earls's scandal, RoJo's political self-destruction, and the GOP clown car in PA-SEN, it’s almost like the party wants to lose the midterms. When will Republicans finally move to the center and purge the Trumpian/loony elements of the party to win back districts like GA-06 and ensure their viability as a national party? #DraftLizCheneyNow (for any of these races but preferably a "suburb")

Because they all live in GA-06. All 500,000 of them.

Yeah duh. Can you imagine subbing to someone not from your congressional district? That’s absurd

So what is this, the second major youtuber to run for congress recently?

I mean yea Joey Salads dropped out of his primary, but maybe Earls can win his? The only other GOP candidate I see is Eric Welsh and I've got no clue who he is (or Earls for that matter up til now but I imagine he's got more name-recognition anyways).
