Guess FDR, Ike, JFK, LBJ… probably most presidents, really… would be “weak” by this definition. (And certainly Trump would be!) Clinton was just unfortunate enough to live in a time when the media preferred to report on sensation over substance and the parties were so polarized his opposition would impeach him over what countless previous presidents had done with no consequences.

Also, it didn’t really destroy his reputation; his approval ratings skyrocketed during the impeachment.

Honestly, I don't know why you felt the need to name-drop the (apparently fictional, since the name "Josh Schwartz" brings up a television producer in his 40s) intern, but that would be such a power move that she'd win re-election (if she did it in her first term, of course) in a landslide.
