Yeah, gender studies gets a bad rap, and it certainly isn't the most practical field of study, but can be important in understanding society.

The number of protons, neutrons, or electrons isn't what determines an element; what matters is how the element presents itself. Consequently, I've been stockpiling lead that is currently transitioning into gold. Once I finish spray-painting it I expect to be offered a price at the proper market value-- that is, unless you're transition-metal-phobic.
