He's out of office and could get a meme following. He's a doctor and a veteran as well

Remember that he has baggage from his tenure as governor.

Unlikely. If you are looking for a moderate Democratic governor from the South, Roy Cooper is a better bet.

Right, because running Dr. Blackface will reverse the 2020 trends with minority voters...

Even without the scandal, the man never had the political chops to run for president. Some people have what it takes, some people don't.

Decent governor despite the scandal, but he would be a <1% also-ran who drops out before New Years if he were ever to run.

Also, it’s really not worth predicting any non-Biden or Harris Democratic candidates besides the most stubbornly committed of leftists, maybe. Nobody else who is anywhere close to the Democratic establishment is going to be running in 2024.

If he moonwalked he'd be a top contender. His failure to do that will make him go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities ever.

Moonwalking didn't save Senator Harrison Schmitt from losing re-election in 1982. Maybe it was the wrong kind of moonwalking for the early '80s.

Just a reminder that the blackface scandal emerged to cover up the abortion comments.
