Of the top 100 most populous counties, Trump only won 9 of them:

- Suffolk, NY
- Kern, CA
- Macomb, MI
- Collin, TX
- Denton, TX
- Oklahoma, OK
- El Paso, CO
- Lee, FL
- Polk, FL

Of those, Oklahoma and Collin/Denton are likely to flip in the near future, then El Paso and Kern a few elections down the road. Suffolk is hard to say given the ballots aren’t in yet, but it’ll probably stay a Lean R county that’s still winnable for Democrats. Macomb is also hard to say since Biden only improved on Clinton by 3 points; it could be off the table entirely or slowly revert back to being a swing county. The two Florida ones are safe R counties that aren’t budging at all.

This means that Democrats’ ceiling for the current top 100 is likely 98/100, provided they can keep Hidalgo (TX) and Miami-Dade from flipping R.

Adams County, IA - 70.8% for Trump, 27.3% for Biden.

Ah. So that explains the massive swing.

One of very few Obama -> greater than 70% Trump counties.

I already explained this earlier in the thread. Biden has a decent chance of winning Suffolk County by a slim margin. The absentee/mail-in vote results haven't been released yet.

In Texas, Loving County had the fewest votes for both Trump and Biden.
