Weed legalization referendums have had resounding victories this election, so did Biden make a mistake by not being pro-weed? He could have attracted some low info stoners, and it doesn’t help that his VP was so aggressive against pot smokers in the past

It's a bad take, but doubt it was a major issue

How many people were even aware of this? I wasn't. Wish I still wasn't. It just helped make him seem out of touch. Not a major issue in the context of the presidential election.

Yes. Weed is more popular than Democrats. Democrats should endorse legalization. Democrats should help get cannabis legalization on the ballot in states where it is not yet legal. You don't have to endorse the use of something to realize people shouldn't be fined or jailed for it.

Yes. I’m sick and tired of being told I’m “not a Democrat” or a “misogynist” just for wanting weed.

Also, the perception that marijuana prohibition is racist may have led to a “Biden is racist too” narrative.

Yes. It was an easy opportunity to have a winning issue.

Lol, I forgot there are places where weed is still illegal.

But to answer the question, I don’t think being for or against would’ve really hurt or helped him much in this race.
