This has to be the lowest Republican margin since at least Reagan, right?

According to Statista, veterans voted for Trump over Clinton 61-34 (+27).

(On an anecdotal note: my dad, brothers, cousin, and uncle -- all either West Point or USNA grads --  are unanimously voting for Biden after being all over the place in 2016).

Probably. Romney, for example, led Obama 58-34 among veterans

We still don't really know what it means, but it could mean anything.

What’s interesting is that Trump does worse amongst people who are currently serving. Could be an age thing.

Yeahh that was definitely off the mark (37-36-14).

It is possible, though, that a good chunk of respondents redistributed to Clinton (14-15% of respondents) and Trump (around 37%) during the ensuing month-and-a-half (considering that the poll was conducted around the latter third of September).  We've seen in other state polls that Gary Johnson's support was somewhat overstated (such as those that him netting nine percent in Georgia, for instance).

I guess 52% of veterans ARE suckers. You’d have to be to still vote for Trump after he revealed how much contempt he has for you.

That many Gujarati Indians joining the military! Wow.

In my entire massive extended family I believe I have one 2nd cousin who went into the Navy

Yeahh my dad's side of the family is the American-Gujju side.  My mom's side is the traditional Indo-Gujju side.

Biden is probably doing a lot better than this with military members. This is not a random sample of military personnel, this is a poll of Military Times readers who are vets.

These are the demographics of this poll:

"The survey audience was 91 percent male and 9 percent female. The respondents identified themselves as 84 percent white, 6 percent Hispanic, 7 percent African American, 2 percent Asian and 7 percent other ethnicities."

That is not inline with the demographics of the military which is 16% female and 43% non-white https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2019/09/10/the-changing-profile-of-the-u-s-military/

The sample is highly skewed to white and male. Trump must be doing even so much worse among the military at large if he has numbers like this in a sample that is heavily skewed to his best demographics.
