I'm just ready to see the Republican stranglehold on the state finally end. If Biden flips Texas, what could that mean going into 2022 with Abbott up for re-election?

This whole thread is awesome. I’m curious if Biden can win Texas by big enough to drag Castaneda across. I imagine if she were to win, either her, Beto, or Hidalgo would top the list to challenge Abbott in 2022. I don’t think that race will ultimately be winnable, but it’s important to have a strong showing so that Democrats can topple Patrick and Paxton.

I really wish Beto didnt run for President this year. He would definitely be in a better position to challenge Abbott coming up, but I think he hurt himself in his national run. I really like Hidalgo as well.
