On this rare occasion, I'm not trying to play gotcha. I'm just curious about how other Christians perceive this sort of behavior among their fellow churchgoers.

I'm just very confused.

But after reading her Wikipedia page, I'm doubtful that Paula White can even be called a Christian.

Paula White promotes prosperity theology and is a Trump Christian, so I can't say I'm a fan.

Even if those things weren't true of her, that stye of preaching always rubbed me the wrong way.

Paula White is a prosperity preacher; a blasphemer and a heretic. Probably one of the worst things Trump's done religiously is to give her a bigger platform.

More generally, my faith tradition teaches clergy a very different preaching style, so when I see stuff like this I get uncomfortable.

I believe that Paula White's theology is extremely misguided.  The prosperity gospel (along with faith healers) are some of the great lies in modern American Christianity that lead so many people not to truly seek Christ.  If you are interested and haven't seen it, go watch American Gospel on Netflix.  It's from a conservative evangelical perspective, but it explains how distinct this message is from authentic Christianity.
