There’s something special about making out in the back of a Town Car.

They went extinct, along with Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Mercury, etc.

Well, I still like them more than Chrysler. The Aztek is a national treasure.

As someone who has soaked up a lot of historical knowledge over the years, I have heard of Oldsmobile and Mercury, but Plymouth is a new name to me.

Ford is the only option here.  I preferred GM back in the day, and they still make better motors and the Corvette is my favorite American car (the current one at least, many earlier ones were garbage), but they suck as a manufacturer.  How the hell can you run a company that big directly into the ground?  They made boat loads of money for a hundred years and then needed a tax payer bailout?  Eff them and their sh**tty running of a once great company.  At least it makes sense with Chrysler needing a bailout, they never made good cars or a lot money (because the cars sucked so bad).  Ford is the least bad of this sh**tty bunch.

Teslas are interesting, but by all non-anecdotal accounts, they are not well made.  Like as bad a car made in the UK....well almost as bad.

That said, I would never buy a Ford or suggest anyone I care about buy a Ford.

Don’t love the options, so I went GM/GMC because my family has had GMC trucks for almost 20 years. I really like them, but if you asked me to say why they are significantly better than any other American brand I probably couldn’t give you a great answer. But if I could be driving any non luxury car right now, it would be my family’s exact old 2004 GMC Yukon XL. That was the perfect truck.

I had no idea they stopped doing Mercury, as for Plymouth...has it really been that long ago? Wow...I really am not young anymore.

Usually I don't have much of an opinion on cars but Lincolns look pretty classy.
