probably not, bush and dole lost by alot and the fundamentals were aginst them. I however dont bush's approval would have dropped to the high 20s like it did for bush. it would probably bottom out at 35 like for trump

H.W Bush would have won reelection (or alternatively, Perot forces the race into the House).

Fox News, admittedly might have backed Buchanan against H.W Bush in 1992, and that might have changed the outcome of the Republican Primary.

In 1996, assuming Clinton still wins in 1992, he still beats Dole, but it's more likely Dole isn't the nominee, and someone like Gingrich is the nominee. Either way, Clinton loses several more  states that he actually won IRL, and would be in danger of losing.
