massachusetts state senate just passed what would be the highest minimum wage in the country...$8.25 by sept. 1, 2007

Yeah, your state is so great that everyone is fleeing to Florida. Good job running off all the real conservatives.

massachusetts is a horrible state for business.  youll never hear my claim otherwise.  the unions run things in this state.

I work with about 10 people from Massachusetts who were born and raised there. Most of them left the state because they were tired of high taxes & high property taxes and a ridiculous cost of living. The northeast is a terrible place for a person who wants to do any sort of honest work with their hands or back.

Actually Florida has higher taxes than Taxachusetts for the poorest 60% of the population.

Maggott cannot bear to think or argue, Dibble.  At least you make an attempt. Smiley
I can think and argue I just save it for people who aren't complete communistic child molesting loons.

Such people have an abysmal condition of life anywhere, States, but at least in the North they are protected by unions.  Why I knew one fellow who spend a couple of years after getting his master of fine arts working at the Anheuser Busch brewery - he made $24/hour after subtracting for union dues and so forth, and had the best benefits known to man.

New Jersey isn't all that bad, neither is Delaware (then again it depends on whether you consider Delaware the Northeast or not).
