I have been told several times PBrunsel/StevenNick would do better than Reaganfan/PBrunsel, I am not sure that is true, then again it may proove to be a stronger ticket.

It would be, you guys are intelligent and would make better leaders, although I don't agree with your views.

a) all the right-wingers can just agree not to give anybody else higher than 4th pref.
b) We'll see afterwards who was the best candidate - he'll get the most votes.

I can't leave Reaganfan's ticket, he chose me for Vice President and I must stick with him until the end. I will only run for president if Reaganfan drops out of the race.

Remember that under preferential voting, votes for write-in candidates will not be counted unless you (or at least other people) rank them 1st.

All conceivable candidates with no first place votes are eliminated from contention after the first ballot.

I realise this, and I am working on the assumption that PBrunsel will be the Presidential nominee for the right, and will probably choose StatesRights or StevenNick as Veep as they seem the logical choices, however, maybe he has different ideas.
