A major loss for the freedom and awareness of women and the LGBTQ+ community in Pakistan. What must be said is that they can’t keep the lid closed forever, not in this open environment, and the current reactionary system will ultimately crack.

Ok so I decided to look up the status of LGBT people in Pakistan and I was pleasantly surprised

The punishnent seems to be a prison sentence of 2 years to life; but also seems to not be a law that is enforced.

Now LGBT stuff is obviously something that should not be criminalized, but I expected Pakistan to be yet another country where "the gays" would get executed by stoning; or at best, sent to jail for decades.

So I guess Pakistan managed to beat my (admittedly low) expectations

I don't see any issue with a state banning apps that promote degenerate behaviour if it wants to.
