Who would prevail if these two tickets battled for the Presidency of the United States? And yes I know Polnut is Australian and Jas is Irish. Let's suppose there was a constitutional amendment allowing foreign born citizens to run for the Presidency.

Discuss with maps. If you want.

I would vote for Polnut but I think that Colin would win as the well-regarded incumbent.

I love voting for myself as much as the next guy, but, assuming Altasian trending, I don't think we would be able to pull it out, even though it may be close.

Colin/Jas for me, and they'd probably win (although these are two excellent tickets in my eyes)

I think there'd be a lot of angry people down south and in the plains. No one on the tickets is a social conservative.

If were to run like a John Edwards social liberal/economic populist I'd probably do pretty well across the Midwest and perhaps a few borders states. I think the NE would be pretty evenly divided. C/J would win NH, ME, possibly CT and NJ and DE. I think states like PA, MI, WI would be all over the place.

But the idea of a two-horse race brings one thing to my mind... incredibly low turnout.
