Not sure about that. If they deliberately exclude polls that show a different story, publishing them only serves to skew the average to not reflect the actual state of the race.

I mean, ok OAN is selectively publishing polling results, but Gravis is still coming up with these favorable numbers for trump in these cases. So what does that say about them?

Selective reporting of the news is one form of propaganda.

I once saw captured German news footage from 1944 (!) -- after D-Day -- and if I were to have seen that in Germany at the time I might have been convinced that the British and Americans were on the brink of being driven out of France... and that the Russian Front was about to be the theater of some smashing German victories.
