Their president looks like Conan O'Brien.

Yeah, I'm out.

♫Finland, Finland, Finland
The country where I want to be
Pony trekking or camping
Or just watching TV
Finland, Finland, Finland
It's the country for me

You're so near to Russia
So far from Japan
Quite a long way from Cairo
Lots of miles from Vietnam

Finland, Finland, Finland
The country where I want to be
Eating breakfast or dinner
Or snack lunch in the hall
Finland, Finland, Finland
Finland has it all

You're so sadly neglected
And often ignored
A poor second to Belgium
When going abroad

Finland, Finland, Finland
The country where I quite want to be
Your mountains so lofty
Your treetops so tall
Finland, Finland, Finland
Finland has it all

Finland, Finland, Finland
The country where I quite want to be
Your mountains so lofty
Your treetops so tall
Finland, Finland, Finland
Finland has it all

Finland has it all♫

What can I say....It's my home. Lot of clear air, forests, lakes, cold winters and short summers.

The very advanced society, the most competitive economy, the heroic nation of the Winter War.

The growing economical and cultural/life style gap between urban and rural areas/southern Finland and rest of the country. (except booming Oulu)

Most people have summer cottage on the lakes and sauna in their homes, even apartment houses, like I have Smiley

The one of those European nations with conscription based military. Over 80 percents of the male population have served in military and proud about it.

Btw. Have anyone seen Conan's Finland special show.  It was very funny actually. Smiley Believe me Helsinki looks totally different place in summer times and so do people. Conan seemed to loved our country but was so  embarrassed when he saw nude Finnish guys walking from sauna to swinging in the frozen sea. What bad is about nudity? It's most natural thing in the world. Don't you Americans ever see other people nude. Wink

And have anyone non-Finnish forum member (excluding Gustaf who have) ever visited in Finland?

I know a lot of very good looking girls from Finland. Finland has, without doubt, one of the most interesting and beautiful languages I have ever heard. The only really bad thing about Finland is the mosquitoes, they are just horrible. Illinois is nowhere near as bad as Finland. It's like Minnesota times ten..!
