Massive FF.  I want a late Citroen DS before I die.

You and me both. Gotta have the later headlights for sure. Which transmission do you prefer? I抎 pick the semi-automatic with the starter built into the shifter.

I'm unfamiliar with that one, but I think the idea of a 5 speed column-shift is hilarious, I love it.  Most were fours which I'd settle for.

It's probably easier and cheaper to find one overseas and ship it here than buying a USDM.  There was a clean one in California, a late 5 speed for 23,500.  I find 2CVs ridiculously overpriced in the US, though-if you can find one.

The semi-automatics have the shifter on top of the steering column (not on the side, like in the manuals). Their shift pattern is really bizarre.

S-N

    2𣛪

R of course being reverse, N for neutral, and the truly bizarre S for the starter. Never heard of any other car with the starter being part of the shift pattern. You park the semi-automatics in neutral, so you turn the key and then push the handle to the left to start it, releasing it like you would with a normal car key.

Yeah, I抎 probably want to ship one from Europe too. The USDM lights were lame. I was looking at some Citroen classified ads last week and you抮e right. 2CVs are ridiculously overpriced here.

Yeah, the lighting regs were absurd-the Mercedes R107, W116 S class, and Jaguar XJS being hardest hit.  But that's nothing compared to the Maserati Khamsin!

Wow, the USDM Citroen DS has nothing on the awfulness of that poor USDM Maserati. I feel sorry for it. God awful bumpers and its lights are basically sagging.

I抦 not really a Maserati person, but the top one isn抰 bad looking.
