Texas is Lean R. Biden should focus more on GA.
No No No. Georgia is fools gold. I give Dems next to zero chance at winning GA in both Presidential and the Senate as well. Not happening - even if Biden has a great night
As for Texas: We always say “not this year but in 4 years” with Texas. Been saying it for a while now. I think 2028 is the year that it could actually flip. Maybe 2024, but definitely not 2020.
Thank God you’re not in a position to call any actual shots. Leaving a state with a 40% non white electorate and a burgeoning metropolis zooming to the Dems on the table is political malpractice.
That’s the difference between Republicans and Democrats. Republicans see a state they lost by 1% as an opportunity. Democrats see states they lost by 1% (Georgia and Florida) as traige-able lost causes
Clinton lost GA by 5, not by 1. And yeah, the above poster is right, throwing money in GA would be a waste of ressources for democrats, the same way that throwing money in MN or NV would be a waste of ressources for republicans. A state which is close is not necessarily winnable. GA is relatively close but republicans have a very solid floor which is above the democratic ceilling, that's why democrats always fall short, including in huge D waves like the ones of 2008 or 2018. The same pattern is true in MN, a republican can come close to winning (see in 2010), but he will fall short because democrats have a floor which is higher than the republican ceilling.
Thanks Captain Obvious, but Kemp just won by 1%
