Does Sam's vote in the Southeast count even though he just moved there?

I don't know the process for amendments.  Odds are it doesn't matter.

He moved there before voting opened, so yes.

Since CheeseWhiz is handling the map in the other topic, I'll handle the region map in this one:

Yes - 26 (76.5%)
No - 7 (20.6%)
Abstain - 1 (2.9%)

As Midwest Governor, I object to this map as being inaccurate. I kindly request that the states of Colorado and Wyoming be re-integrated with the Midwest region. Pleeeeeeease. Smiley

There seems to be an awful lot of weird logic being used in the Pacific...

Hmm, I'm not sure if 6 is the right time.  It might be hard for a person to be there at that time.

I'm afraid I have to echo True Dem's concerns, despite my initial support.

Nay

How is it harder to be here at six than at midnight?

I like the consistency of three full days, no longer, no less (well, maybe a second here or there).

So, Nay.

I'm not sure why "consistency" is being used as a word here.

It also seems to me that aesthetics should come second to actual functionality...

Nay, Incovinent time to vote for me.

The amendment would still give you all of Friday and all of Saturday to vote...

Anyway, new region map:

For alot, 6 is harder. I know I work on alot of Thursdays beginning at six, many people do stuff after school, have class, and Alcon would probably be just getting out of school at 3 PST. Midnight is much easier for everyone involved, except foreignors, for whom most time is a bad time, and ilikeverin, who still has an enforced bedtime.

Yes, but you don't have to vote right when the voting booth opens...

I guess I just don't understand why this would really affect anyone at all other than the person counting the ballots.

No, but someone has to open the booth and then close it at six on Sunday. Some of us also are doing stuff at six (Church, working, etc).

No, it has to pass four of the five regions to be ratified.
