imagine being like Atlas and having ur money in anything other than 100% US equities because you listen to permabear disinfo from the Axis of Evil spewing communist propaganda about an "imminent collapse" of the market that they've been saying is just weeks or months away every day since like 2010 lmao

He immediately sought cuts to Medicaid. He basically let congressional Republicans set the policy in this regard. This needs to be front and center in 2020 like it was in 2018.

And now Trump wants to turn Medicaid into a block-grant program:

HELL YEAH!!!

If Trump would get SS changed so that young people could opt out, I'd love that. I hate that my hard earned money is being taken out of my check to go into that Ponzi scheme.

We will all have extra money and smart people will invest in the stock market and get far better returns than Social Security will EVER provide, and the people who don't, well that's their problem.

Until a recession hits and then you're stuck without anything after you're too old to keep working.

what r u guys talking about lmao stocks only go up

God you are an idiot.

You're likely going to be sitting on a street corner someday carrying a sign:

"NEED $ TO CLUB BRAH!"

"LET'S ROLL!"

In the event of another 2008 financial collapse, investments in the market would be gone and without social security, someone like you would end up broke and homeless in old age. Social Security isn't about getting a return, it's about not ending up totally destitute when you can no longer work.

sure, just imagine short selling financials in 2008 then levering the f!ck up and buying the dip spring 2009, that would have been lit as hell, those investments that collapsed in 2008 aren't "gone" they just went on sale for a while lmao.

That's not how things work and it certainly isn't that easy. A retirement wouldn't be based on a gamble like that, because retirements are planned long term to make money work for the retiree for at least 30 years.
