I doubt it will happen during any of our lifetimes, the stage has not been set for war to occur in any possible fashion.

No, due to the fact Russia is working with US in trying to space travel and stop meteorites from hitting Earth, that's why Putin stopped Iran from fighting a war with US

No, the only WW3 that will happen, eventually is asteroid hitting earth. Russia and US are rivals, but we arent enemies like during Cold War; thus, we are preparing our space stations to look for Armageddon and move to deeper space
