Generally I don't like world leaders. Sane people don't. Especially not this selection

George W. Bush: not a fan to put it mildly. Good that he's on the wagon though.
Jacques Chirac: a criminal
Paul Martin: a louse
Jose Zapatero: seems too media-obsessed. Don't know much else about him to be honest, although he's not been bad in E.U stuff IIRC
Angela Merkel: zzz...
Hugo Chavez: a would-be-dictator. Could have walked off a Carry On set...
Manmohan Singh: quite bland really. Nice to see a sikh as P.M though.
Vladimir Putin: a control freak
Kim Jong-Il: an insane dictator
Pervez Musharraf: not bad for a dictator. Certainly better than the rapacious politicial classes that preceeded him...
Saparmurat Niyazov: an insane dictator. Go ice palace!
Tony Blair: politically I'm still irritated that the final reform of the Lords has been delayed. I also dislike his tendency to play down the redistributive effect of Labour's record for fear of upsetting newspaper barons. In general too media-obsessed (not as much as he was though). On a personal level he's a decent guy by most accounts.
Fidel Castro: a dictator
Robert Mugabe: a dictator
Viktor Yuschenko: an egomaniac etc, but better than the alternatives.
Islam Karimov: a dictator
Silvio Berlusconi: a criminal
Ibrahim al-Jaafari: ?
John Howard: An unpleasant bandwagon billy type. Never liked him, but dislike turned into loathing after that thing with the boat people...
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: a lunatic
Evo Morales: either a would-be-dictator or a fraud
Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva: generally not bad, been too tolerant of corruption though.

George W. Bush - HP
Jacques Chirac - HP, but some entertainment value on a good day.
Paul Martin - HP. He couped me out!
Jose Zapatero - FF
Angela Merkel - HP
Hugo Chavez - HP. Not as bad as some of his opponents though.
Manmohan Singh - FF
Vladimir Putin - HP. Not quite as bad as many in the West seem to have decided he is, though.
Kim Jong-Il - HP. But great entertainment value.
Pervez Musharraf - HP
Saparmurat Niyazov - HP
Tony Blair - HP
Fidel Castro - HP. But great entertainment value.

Viktor Yuschenko - HP
Islam Karimov - HP
Silvio Berlusconi - HP
Ibrahim al-Jaafari - AS [American Stooge. Doesn't make him an HP though.]
John Howard - HP
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - HP in foreign policy, FF by the appropriate yardstick in domestic.
Evo Morales - FF ... or HP ... time will tell.
Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva - FF

Robert Mugabe - HP. Again, even though it was hard to give this man a press even worse than he deserved, Western news media have managed to.

On some things (ie; that mess with the white farmers) yes. On other things, no. Although the tendency for the media to act as if he's the *only* evil lunatic misruling an African country is irritating.
