And if so - who, and who? It's the ultimate Hail Mary. Going all out. Announcing who your vice president will be, without getting the nomination. Reagan did it in '76. Cruz in '16. Who is most likely to do it in '20?

If there's a contested convention, I could see Biden doing it. Otherwise, no.

With demise of Beto, Buttigieg, whom seem very much like Beto, star has faded.  Castro, whether its Warren or Biden, whom both have outreach towards Latinos, and Warren speaking Espanol, is probably the better pick to be Veep. Harris or Abrams dont have any foreign policy experience. Klobuchar and Gillibrand are the only two that have foreign policy

Castro ended his chance at being VP for Biden at least in that last debate. Biden’s more likely to pick a woman anyway.

It's possible, especially with frontrunners being older white people who would benefit from a younger brown national surrogate.
