Good Movie.  Oddly, I frequently get Thora Birch mixed up with Christina Ricci.

They were in a movie together.

Good movie.  Has some dumb parts.  Has some other parts that hit you right in the gut.

Great movie. One of the few times the Oscars got it right.

I was bored by it, barely remember it.  Did it have the weird teenager taking pictures with his best friend, the plastic grocery bag?  It's got that dude in it we all hate now, right?

Good movie, but I can’t watch it anymore since Kevin Spacey plays a pedophile in it.  It’s too creepy.

But in the movie he was pursuing girls so that makes it fictional.

See, that's acting.  Whereas, in the Midnight in the Garden of Good an Evil he was merely playing himself.

Classic film.

It was one of the first films that looked inside the perverted interior of modern suburban USA.

Everyone was so off centre, yet the film had a finely balanced quality.

And that is what makes it worth it honestly

Tbf Happiness came out a year earlier and it was a funnier, darker, and much sharper satire that covered somewhat similar-ish ground (albeit with a bit of NYC mixed in rather than being 100% focused on suburbia).  Happiness also provided Dylan Baker and (albeit probably to a lesser degree) the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman with their breakout roles.

Has its moments, but very pretentious movie, often to an insufferable degree.
