RTLL: BRAMBILA
VOTE FOR: John D. Ford

I believe that he is a strong candidate, and although Stevenick also knows the issues very well, I don't think we have as good of a chance of winning against the democrats and progressives with Stevenick.

Vote For: John Ford

This was after reading Brambila's comments. I feel however that both StevenNick and John Ford are good candidates.

I can't help you guys out here.  Endorse whoever you want in the Republican Party, we all know you sure won't be endorsing Nym (and rightfully so...).

But I won't be voting either Republican or Democrat this presidential election, so my vote doesn't matter on this issue.

I would of included a UAC candidate, but I don't think yuou've nominated someone yet.

Well it's 8:00 E.S.T., and we have a tie.

Voting is extended to 9:00 E.S.T., if there is still a tie I will make the deciding vote.

BREAKING NEWS*****

(Right to Life League Headquarters, Salt Lake City, Utah)

Reporter: Right to Life League Chairman Paul PBrunsel (R-IA) will now cast the deciding vote for the RTLL Endorsement.

(PBrunsel walks behind a podium as cameras flash)

PBrunsel: After reading the candidates abortion positions and seeing the popular trend, I must put aside my political beliefs for those of the Right to Life League.

Because of this I hereby cast the deciding vote for the next President of the Forum John D. Ford of California.

Mr. Ford has recieved our endorsement. Good night and be pro-life.

(PBrunsel leaves podium and leaves room as cameras flash.)

Sorry StevenNick. I had to vote in the interests of the Right to Life League and the Republican Party.

I debated over and over in my mind who to vote for and typed and backspaced several times, but I had to vote for John D. Ford.

I thank the right to life league, and can only hope to embody the best of the pro-life movement throughout my campaign.  Thank you to PBrunsel, Duke Fan, Brambila, and everyone who has worked to make the league what it is, including my opponent this weekend, StevenNick.

Sorry StevenNick. I had to vote in the interests of the Right to Life League and the Republican Party.

I debated over and over in my mind who to vote for and typed and backspaced several times, but I had to vote for John D. Ford.

I must say I feel shocked and a little betrayed.  I understand the rationale behind your vote, but I was under the impression that the Right to Life League would decide to award its endorsement on the basis of a candidate's pro-life credentials rather than some illusive ideal of 'electability'.

That being said, I congratulate John Ford on receiving the endorsement of the Right to Life League.  Thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to speak my mind on abortion.  Hopefully I will receive the endorsement of this organization upon winning the republican nomination for president.  One way or another, I look forward to the fight ahead.

Best wishes to all,

Stephen Nichols

StevenNick I had to vote the way the RTLL wanted me too. Our most powerful members were pro-Ford, and I have to vote in aliance to my own league.

Since Mr. Ford has dropped out of the race, do the RTLL Members want to revote on the endorsement?

Then I will post a new thread, and we will choose between StevenNick and Reaganfan.
