Sign if you here agree to explain as much as physically possible as many of your final votes as possible. It doesn't have to be long or anything. Just a short one sentence line or even a quote of what someone else stated.

Named in honor of congressman Justin Amash who has explained every vote he did in Congress besides the ONE vote he missed.

I think this pledge is important to generating activity in Atlasia. Signing this pledge doesn't mean you have to like Amash's policies just that you have to follow one of his legislative policies. If someone who signed this forgets to explain their vote either kindly pm or quote them and just ask why they voted that way.

I'll sign

I do this anyways, most of the time

But it is important, as it's better to take a logically inconsistent position, that can be explained than a logical position that is inexplicable. Explaining also gives voters valuable information about ideology of the candidates

So (Following me explaining signing)

Transparency is important. I'm glad to see others holding themselves to it.

The name is sort of unfortunate, but the idea is certainly a good one; with legislators explaining why they vote the way they do.

I am currently in an executive and not legislative position, but transparency is very important, and in my days as Councillor of Lincoln I never missed a single vote or left one with my reasoning unclear. I am glad to see transparency being furthered.

×Peanut, if ever I return to a legislative chamber.
