The orange fascist is a disgrace, I am glad America is waking up to see it.
Stop being over zealous, if he was a fascist you wouldn't be able to say what you just said. Please look up the definition of it

Yes, and at first Hitler was a totally cool dude too who, because he was democratically elected, couldn’t be THAT bad and anyone who said otherwise was being “overzealous” because I mean they said that and didn’t wake up dead the next morning so how bad could it be, right?

But then, like, OVERNIGHT, he started gassing all the Jews and declaring war on everyone! And imprisoning and/or executing all journalists and dissenters! Like, WOAH, where did that come from? Who could have seen THAT coming from the decades of writings and speeches that were totally just ironic jokes man, the slow erosion of norms and institutions, the creeping authoritarianism and cult of personality that became more severe yet more accepted day by day, the exploitation of natural cross-cultural human obedience to authority proven by Milgram’s experiments...

No, seriously, the ignorance of history displayed in this post is revolting. Authoritarian regimes do NOT just come up out of nowhere overnight, obvious to everyone immediately. That isn’t how it works. That’s not how it’s ever worked. It’s the slow NORMALIZATION that allows it to happen, the “Then They Came For Me” part, and that is the most frightening part of it all. And it’s what we’re experiencing right now. “Well, he fired the FBI director for investigating him. So what? Let’s just make fun of him on late night TV... while we still can. Well, he has been blatantly implicated in obstruction of justice. And fired his previous semi-principled Attorney General and replaced him with a sock puppet. And surrounded himself by nothing but filthy fascist rats like Roger Stone and Paul Manafort and Roy f—king Cohn his whole life. And talked openly about being President for life, but, like, he couldn’t actually MEAN that or else he wouldn’t have SAID it, right? And repeatedly praised dictators around the world against American interests. And acted repeatedly in contempt of Congress and defiance of the law. He has obviously done worse than what Nixon was forced out for; even the guy who implicated Nixon testified before Congress to say so. But again, I mean, he hasn’t KILLED me yet so by definition he’s OBVIOUSLY not a fascist, right LIBTARDS???”

The democrats have become the new Tea Party, you sound like a schizophrenic. Lemme ask you this, who droned several countries without an official declaration of war? Who was caught spying on US citizens without due process? Who pushed for government control of the economy while leaving it in corporate hands? Obama and I could go into how Bush was more of a fascist then Trump but thats a bigger list. I'm not a fan of trump but I'm not a paranoid schizophrenic about him. All the things he has done policy wise that I dislike, Obama and Bush did the same thing. I'm not saying Obama or Bush were fascists either, but they did more fascistic things under their presidency. We have checks and Balances and there is an election coming up. If he was a fascist, you wouldn't be typing on your keyboard complaining and I'd hope you would take up arms against a supposed "Fascist" government.

How about moving the previous administration discussion to a separate thread in an appropriate forum?  It's derailing this thread.

Absolutely. Trump is not a Nazi, but if he was not constrained by the constitutional norms set over the last 250 years, he would be similar to Mussolini, Franco or Pinochet. He respects dictators in NK, China and Russia while insulting our NATO allies. He wants his opponents tossed in jail and respects strongmen for being tough and decisive.

If he was a fascist, you wouldn't be typing on your keyboard complaining and I'd hope you would take up arms against a supposed "Fascist" government.

Everything else you said was utter garbage — either unbelievably ignorant, objectively and factually incorrect, or so insane it’s far more befitting of your own ad hominem “paranoid schizophrenic” label than anything I said (or, in most cases, some combination of the three) — but THIS part just redirects me back in circles to the beginning of what I said. Just because you can say it NOW, does NOT mean you will ALWAYS be allowed to. I guess it will take a black bag over your head and a rifle at your throat for you to understand the gravity of the situation. The whole point is to stop it BEFORE it gets there! That’s what I’m trying to say! China was actually looking up before the Tiananmen square protests, you know — that’s why they thought they were safe to do it in fact! But then they got massacred and harsh reality sunk in. And the rights of the Chinese people were pushed back to the point that this web page is banned there simply because I mentioned it.

I don’t WANT that or anything like that in my country. And I am NOT a “paranoid schizophrenic” who believes we are already there. It’s the last thing I want, but  it’s a long road and a slippery slope. My whole point that you obviously missed entirely is that it is NOT some sudden flash that happens overnight, but rather a slow process that you can easily miss if you are not alert and in staunch opposition for every single moment of it. And that is where we are right now. I still believe there is a chance America can recover without armed revolt, that this IS merely an aberration as Biden says, which is the ONLY reason  I am not in armed revolt yet. But trust me, the moment it gets to that point (and god I hope it doesn’t) I WILL be out there on the front lines. Will you? Or will you be an enabler still calling me and others like me “schizophrenics” for seeing this abomination for what it is?

I noticed that you did not offer a single defense or justification for any of the many instances I cited of Trump defying the law and democracy in an authoritarian manner, by the way. (And those were but a small sampling, and it’s growing every day.) Could it be because you know you cannot defend the indefensible?

Fact is NONE of the other presidents you cited EVER did ANYTHING remotely like what he has done when it comes to openly spitting on the Constitution and defying the law and the will of the people without even pretending to give it lip service; indeed he has consistently shown nothing but open contempt for it. You can rant and rave and point to easily debunked fantasy conspiracy theories about the black guy all you want (HYSTERICAL that you would cite the “Tea Party” negatively by the way when you sound EXACTLY like one of them!); that does not change the hard facts of reality in front of your face right now. The only question now is whether you will bend over and spread your ass wide for Der Fuhrer or whether YOU will help us stop him before it is too late.

I noticed you mentioned Trumps "praise of dictators," seriously? Presidents have been supporting dictators for years and because hes trying to release tension from the dictators that hate us, its all of sudden bad? James Comey deserved to be fired, nobody wanted him in charge and he was completely incompetent. He has been cleared for the Russia thing and the obstruction of justice so I really don't know why you are ranting and waving about that Remember he did investigate the holy hilldawg for her ACTUAL crimes? I'm not tea party because to the right of you, I'm socially Libertarian, Fiscally centrist. This is why people can't take liberal serious anymore, because of people who throw around the fascist word around. I had grandparents who lived in fascist Italy, ask them how fascism really is, idiot.
