r/Christianity is more conservative than I'd prefer, but on a whole it's pretty good. Since there are other subs for more fundamentalist and conservative Christians (like r/TrueChristian or r/Christians) it ends up more liberal, the vast majority of people on it condemn things like conversion therapy and call out televangelist frauds, a thread where a young teen asked for prayers for his gay lover was mostly positive and accepting, they have rules against calling someone not a Christian or making homophobic slurs, etc. It's not r/OpenChristian but it's still one of the best Christian forums on the net.

r/Catholicism is utterly horrifying. Not only is basically everyone on there basically an ultra-trad, it's sectarian to a vile level. A few days ago there was a thread where most were advising a mother to boycott her OWN DAUGHTER'S WEDDING because she was marrying a non-Catholic seminarian in a non-Catholic church. Thank God based on later comments it appeared the mother had decided to still go.

r/atheism is a toxic, bigoted sh!thole that even most atheists seem to hate.

This, but I share BRTD's opinions of these three boards.

r/Christianity is very liberal, and last time I checked it was full of atheist trolls.

It's more "big tent" than liberal. Unless you advocate for things like conversion therapy, "Christian" based businesses that are actually scams or hucksters who claim to be making prophecies about the End Times or whatever I doubt you'd find it too unfriendly. It has some atheist posters but outright trolls get modded fast.

I largely agree with BRTD on this.  My opinion of r/atheism is slightly (and I really mean just slightly) better, but I've never cared much about that sub

/r/Atheism because I'm an atheist.

Also, I find /r/DankChristianMemes consistently hilarious.

The correct answer. Of the three listed, r/Catholicism is the only tolerable sub.

Not revealing it but I don't post much, mostly just read and vote. Reddit is only fun for posting if you hang out there obsessively.

Ehhh...

I think that's up for debate. My experience as a non-liberal, non-Catholic, is that my theology had been received with more politeness and charity on r/Catholicism than r/Christianity.

r/Catholicism > r/Christianity >>>>>>>> r/Atheism.

That being said...
