Is there a single honest person in the world  who holds a positive view of Russia?

Russia and Israel are both terrible, any honest person should see that.

Is there a single honest person in the world  who holds a positive view of Russia?

The country and its people?  Sure!  Its current president and government?  I’ll let you sum up some of my thoughts on that:

My personal opinion is that both the US and Russia are imperialist powers, but choosing between them I would support the USA, because it is a democracy.
[...]
The point is that Russia is a totalitarian state in contrast to the USA. Just watch Russian tv and radio channels not to hear a single critical word of criticism of Putin. Can you imagine American mass media only praising the president without criticising him? Can imagine a US government official taking a million dollar bribe? In Russia this is usual practice.

The good thing is Putin actually screwed himself by pretty much openly helping Trump. Hillary might've lost but the Trump administration had no choice but to follow throught with the sanctions in order not to give an appearance of being in the Kremlin's pocket. In the end it'll cost Russia more than any short-term gain.

If American is run the way Republicans want, it will be usual practice.

I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that Russia interfered with the 2016 election.

That is why Trump is President today.

He was elected by the Kremlin.

No. You don’t get off that easy. Russia helped, sure. But it wouldn’t have worked unless people like you were already ready to do whatever mental gymnastics were required to justify voting for him.

Not just 2016))

Caption: This is a memorandum from National Security Council staffer John Lenczowski to Deputy National Security Advisor John Poindexter. It was dated August 16, 1984, and expressed alarm at Soviet efforts to intervene in U.S. domestic politics and oppose the re-election of Ronald Reagan.

The difference is that Russia mostly switch from disinformation to hacking and leaking the real information. Democracy dies in darkness - don't forget it.

That just about hits the nail on the head. Russia hacked Americans' minds more than anything.

Absolutely. Russians infiltrated American mentality to instill the idea of Putin's omnipotence, and they have succeeded.

The FBI was happy enough to investigate the hacking into the DNC. The FBI, doesnt want a Cold War with Russia without Watergate levels of breakin.

To the FBI, hacking of intelligence doesnt rise to Cold War levels. So, the acquitted Trump. Without going through an impeachment.

Both Russian meddling and American meddling is bad. Neither should be tolerated.

And I've openly laughed about and celebrated the killing of some CIA agents before, so you can't call me a hypocrite.

To be fair, I was talking about Joe Republican. However – and this is pretty verifiable by looking at your posting history – you've made quite the fuss about Russian meddling and comparatively nothing about Israeli interference in U.S. elections.

Israel is a friendly nation whose aim is to strengthen America, Russia is the eternal enemy whose aim is to destroy America and the whole democratic world. Even a newly born lamb is aware of this fact.

In almost every country that has been surveyed, more people have a negative view of Israel than a positive one.

Yeah, I can't imagine (((why))).  Roll Eyes

I am happy to be so often cited on this forum, but only a blind person can see irony in my words.
