Awesome! I wish I could've gone there to maybe see her in person and by me living very close to Jackson anyway.

I'm part of the minority of people that actually finds Warren fairly likeable (granted I also liked Hillary... which is not a common position). That said- despite Warren's Policy Chops & resilience, she would be a godsend for Trump if she was the nominee.  She is one of the few he would probably end up having a decent chance against.

But her town hall should be good- I really like that she is tough and really gives it 100% all the time.  Also she comes across much younger than 70 years old (technically 69 I guess). She may be only 3 years younger than Trump- but seems much more youthful and energetic... Most of these candidates should brand him Low energy Trump.

Under the likely scenario that Warren does not get the nomination- she would certainly be a great Cabinet Secretary.

Huge applause for advocating getting rid of the Electoral College.

I was about to say the same thing.  Funding for HBC's got a big response... but even that paled in comparison to getting rid of the EC.  And the point is very true- under the EC- is really doesn't matter if you vote for President or not in more than Half of the States in the US... so essentially over half of the states in the country have no say in who is elected President... That fact in and of itself should be proof that the EC no longer serves a purpose.

Pretty good response for getting rid of weapons of war also (which is also a very logical notion)... a few people have to give up a hobby, in order to protect millions of (usually) students.  The 2nd Amendment was not meant to protect a hobby. Hence the reason Machine guns are not legal. Under a 2nd Amendment debate or discussion- there is (or should be) no difference between a machine gun & an AK-47.

Warren is killing it. I'm not sure how I can be one of the few people who's a huge fan of both Sanders and Warren. Loving one and hating the other really doesn't make sense to me unless "style/charisma" is the main thing you care about.

Breaking up Tech companies is not a strong point for Warren- I heard today that one of the latest major polling companies included the breaking up tech companies question... And only 10% of voters in the US were in favor of this.

Overall I thought she had a pretty good town hall... and likely really appealed to many Mississippi voters.  At any rate- Her town hall was much better than Gillibrand's.  She probably won over some voters in the crowd- much more so than Gillibrand.

I think Warren comes off more genuine than Gillibrand & Kamala.

She killed it! One thing is for sure, she's extremely passionate. Not only that, but she clearly enjoys meeting people and taking their questions.

Warren did a great job at the town hall and it certainly looks like the audience really liked her. Also, on an unrelated note, I just saw Espy take a pic with her.

I wish I could support her, but she's damaged goods from the Native American/DNA test clusterf**ck.

That's my issue with her too. Even during this town hall she didn't handle it in the best way when asked about it. She used the old "Americans care about the actual issues affecting them" excuse. That's true of how things should be, but the GOP are not going to let the "scandal" be. Hillary Clinton used that same excuse when asked about her emails back in 2016, and we all saw how that ended up.

That said, it's such a f***ing shame that this is the case because Warren is outstanding when it comes to her passion, knowledge, and understanding of policy which this town hall helped demonstrate. We need that in a President. I would be confident that she would be an effective candidate as opposed to Sanders, who is similar on policy but just isn't instill a sense of competence in me that I get from Warren. I wish I could make a composite candidate where I could put her brain in that of a candidate without any weaknesses.

Nobody cares about breaking Big Tech, despite FB privacy usage they keep gaining users in spite of it. She should talk more about breaking up big pharma/opioids. She should stop mentioning reparations because it looks like pure pandering, she's been in Congress since 2013 and has never brought it up until now.

Not to mention the whole Native American fiasco.

She didn't mention reparations of her own accord, she was asked about it.
