I agree with Adam's analysis and others.  Abrams shouldn't run for Senate in 2020.

My thought: she could well be Joe Biden's running mate if he wins the Presidential nomination.

Guess I'm not the only one with that thought:

OMG. Abrams needs to win STATEWIDE OFFICE first before being considered a VP contender. All of this talk needs to calm down.

I don't understand why the VP needs to be so experienced. Is having a statewide office going to help her sit in her chair in the Senate chamber better than she would have without that statewide experience??

…That being said, I think it'd be presumptuous to name a VP candidate so early. It was silly for Ted Cruz to do it before the primaries were over, and doing it before they've even begun is even more absurd.

She shouldn't be considered moreso because being Vice President is too ceremonial of a position to waste a decent 2020 Senate recruit on. I think she's fine when it comes to experience, that goes for really any politician running against Trump.
