People are really underestimating Biden. It’s definitely his race to lose if he decides to run.

Even if that's true (doubt it), he's a professional at losing presidential campaigns spectacularly.

Harris and Bernie has sucked all the oxygen and fundraising totals out of room. California and Beenie online fundraising doesnt give other candidates room to grow. Thats why otgers have fallen behind.

Its either donate to Sanders or Harris, Biden should have announced Feb and should Beto

I think he's overrated for the GE and a paper tiger. Not that I have something against him, but he has a lot of of stuff to attack. He could beat Trump, of course, but I wouldn't take this for granted.

If that was really the case, Obama would not have won 2 consecutive presidential campaigns in 2008 and 2012.

Because that was Obama, who was a great campaigner. Look up Biden’s runs in 1988 and 2008.

We got all the talking points. The vague "scrutiny" that's going to happen. The "me too allegations" that have a 0.1% chance of existing. The idea that past candidacies determine future candidacies. The idea that not announcing over a year before the primaries start is going to doom you. This thread is like Atlas in a nutshell.

And look to Biden’s 2008 VP candidacy during which he helped Obama attracting working-class voters.

To an extent, perhaps, but I think Obama's weakness with working-class voters was always overstated in 2008, and he was also helped enormously by the recession. Biden didn't get very far on his own in 2008. Sure, he could run a better campaign this time, but he tends to be very gaffe-prone, and I don't think that's going to help him.

Biden's gonna collapse any minute now- that time he said something ham-handed in 1972 is doing him in even as I type this! -Atlas
