March 2019 House Rules Amendment
Article 2 of the House Rules is amended as follows,

8.) House Bills and Resolutions shall be enumerated as "H-", followed by two numbers seperated by a period, with the first number being the number of the current session and the second increasing sequentially for each bill or resolution placed on the floor per each session.

This resolution greatly clarifies the house legislation designations, which were previously not codified, in a way that is easy to understand. This should be common sense, therefore I move to waive the 72 hour debate requirement and proceed straight to the vote. 24 hours to object.

Not to delay this, but wouldn't colon be more visually appealing than a period to separate the two numbers?

I mean, I don't believe it makes a significant difference. I chose to model it off of Lincoln which uses the period.

Just my personal preference, but I think a period would be better than a colon. It flows easier when you read it imo. I support this bill, the current method of labeling bills is a bit annoying to keep track of.
