BATTLEGROUND 2018
Florida
President Trump has not only aggressive control of the Republican but also the country. Florida has continually been close with the last two being decided by less than two points, will this follow the trend or be lopsided in the age of Trump?
For the Republicans, can establishment Republicans like Adam Putnam or Pam Bondi be able to win over the primary in the age of Trump or will children of the Trump revolution like Ron DeSantis be able to take the primary and the gubertarional candidates? Or will the back horse candidates win this election like Jack Latvala or Bob White?
For Democrats, the party has taken a left swing as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez start to become the face of the new Democratic party. Can the progressives take the Florida Democratic party as they have in other primaries with candidates like Andrew Gillum or Chris King? Or will the establishment candidates be able to win and hold onto their power in the Democratic party with candidates like Bill Nealson or Gwen Graham?
With a highly diversified and closely watched state, anything can happen. We will have to wait and see as the Florida governor's race unravels, will the candidates use dirty tactics to get the upper hand or will hard work pay off or will big money be able to buy the office?
