...and many successful black people are liberals. Maybe they have some loyalty to poor black, which is something that I rarely see in  highly-successful white people. OK, some highly-successful white investment banker probably has no connections to Appalachia, as such is not his heritage. Successful black people know what their black ancestors were before 1865 and perhaps later in Ku Kluxistan. .

"Credit to his race" is like  saying "he's a good man -- for a Jew".  (Truth be told, such says that one hardly knows many of the people that one insults with that questionable praise).

Political affiliation, unless it is with militant extremists like the KKK, Commies, and ISIS, is not evidence of poor character.

Nobody should have to apologize for being black. With the rare exception of Rachel Dolezal, few people ever chose to be black. (On the other side, the late Carol Channing "passed" long before she passed away). I hope that we can all grow up about racism. Don't you?
