1 - 5 protects the right of public employees to participate in election  activities with safeguards to ensure that the government itself is and appears neutral

6 prohibits crucial emergency public workers like police, fire, and EMS from striking against the public good.

7 prohibits discrimination in public hiring against people with facial hair, tattoos, or piercings.

8 allows more younger workers who need experience to participate in public contracts.
