I feel like if it the ticket was reverse and had Mike Lee as the nominee for President, it would be a Republican landslide.

O'Rourke/Harris wins 290-248

Beto O'Rourke (D-TX) / Kamala Harris (D-CA) 49.1% 290 EV
Mike Pence (R-IN) / Mike Lee (R-UT) 45.2% 248 EV

O'Rourke wins a close primary against Bernie Sanders. The months-long battle is closer than 2016, but Beto still ends up with enough support to win a close victory against Pence amid a slowing economy. Pence's pardon of Trump hurts his campaign slightly more among independents than it helps him with Trump's base.

The Obama/Trump swing voters probably wouldn't. Pence at least has a chance with them due to the Trump association.
