In this election the major parties truned to first ladies. Barbara, not Laura, has been nominated by the Republicans. The Democrats have chosen Hillary Clinton. With the backing of the Southern Populists, Rosalyn Carter runs as a populist. Who would you vote for in this first ladies election?

Sorry, Barbara is constitutionally barred from being President.

How is that?

Actually, disregard what I said.

As an off-note: Teresa Heinz Kerry could never become President.  Born in Mozambique.

Ditto.

I know she's not on the list, but I'd pay to see Laura Bush as President. She'd probably giggle and run off halfway during her inauguration speech.

Lynne Cheney! She's not First Lady, but her husband is president ;-)

Finally a Republican who admits it!

I voted for Carter.

She was even more pro-Soviet than her husband...I voted for Rosalyn Carter as a knee-jerk reaction.

Hillary of course. Rosalyn seems pretty... unqualified.

I included Carter due to a third party candidate being needed, and Rosalyn Carter sat in on her husbands cabinet meetings and played a strong role in the presidency. She's not like "Everyone's Grandmother" Barbara Bush, though.
